I am looking for a ramdisk program, so I can put my page file on my RAM disk. One thing is sure, I will never use the 6Gb. Ramdisk are usually used for servers, or high speed situations. But that is not the tiny files, it is the number of concurrent accesses. For example, loading the kB of uTorrent: HD takes 9ms to begin sending the file, sends it in 0 ms. SSD takes 1ms to begin sending the file, sends it in 1 ms. RAM takes 0ms to begin sending the file, sends it in 0 ms. The slowest, the HD, takes 9 milliseconds to load uTorrent. Nine milliseconds. That's below the threshold of what you see as instantaneous. It's before your finger has lifted off the mouse button.
