Early Head Start. Prenatal to age 3 Offers year-round programming. Center-Based Child Care Partnership The Early Head Start — Child Care Partnership is a collaboration between four local community child care centers to bring high-quality Early Head Start programming to local child care centers to support families in need of full-time child care. Serves children aged 6 weeks through 3 years. Breakfast, lunch and snacks. Diapers and wipes.
Additional family cost-share amounts apply. Short-term tuition assistance may be available for families experiencing financial hardships. When assessed at age 3, Early Head Start EHS children performed significantly better in the cognitive, language and social and emotional development measures than those children who did not receive EHS services.
Parents of those EHS children scored significantly higher than parents of children who did not receive EHS services on many aspects of home environment, parenting behavior and progress toward self-sufficiency. At Kindergarten entry, those children who received EHS services continued to show positive impacts in the areas of social and emotional development.

Morning or afternoon classes are available. Group socializations occur on a monthly basis with a small group of children, parents and educators. At EOCF we place our programming focus on five key areas of influence. Working in tandem, these provide the children we serve with a holistic influence that benefits their early development.
Individual learning plans and goals are created with the family, and we provide tools for each child to be successful. Children who are healthy are better learners. EOCF provides health screenings for hearing, vision, development, and height and weight. We support and encourage families in getting regular well-child care. We can help families find a physician, get insurance for their children and connect to other community resources as needed.
All of our programs encourage family participation in the classroom. We also offer free classes with childcare for parenting and child development, health and nutrition, leadership and advocacy, budgeting and shopping, plus fun family events.
